Indianapolis BJJ

With the recent popularity of UFC, MMA, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Indianapolis is lucky enough to have a large selection of training facilities from which local Hoosiers can choose.  Indianapolis has a strong connection to UFC and the MMA community due to the success and showmanship of the UFC’s most entertaining fighters and Indiana’s own Chris “Lights Out” Lytle.

With all the draw of UFC and combat sports, BJJ has taken the lead as the most popular and fastest growing sport and self-defense training.  This is due to the effectiveness for real world application in combination with the ease of practical training.  Those who train in jiu-jitsu are able to do so for longer periods of time with minimal risk of injury, if done properly.  BJJ students can have training and sparring session for as long as their endurance or stamina will allow, and not have to worry about continuous physical abuse from a striking sport, in comparison to boxing or kickboxing.  Not to say boxing or kickboxing are bad sports,  in fact they are very practical and excellent for combat training with various other benefits.  Jiu-jitsu and boxing or kickboxing are simply different animals.

So where in Indianapolis can you begin training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu?
